1. Agreement

By requesting a quote or ordering services from Translation HelpDesk (“we,” “us”), you agree to these terms. If you are ordering on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. Services

We provide certified translation, machine-translation post-editing (MTPE), transcreation, localization, interpreting, subtitling, dubbing, voiceover, proofreading, and apostille coordination. Certified translations include a signed Certificate of Accuracy that satisfies 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) for USCIS filings. We are a translation provider — nothing we deliver constitutes legal, medical, or immigration advice.

3. Quotes & Payment

  • Quotes are based on source word count and are itemized before work begins. The price quoted is the price charged — no hidden fees.
  • Payment is accepted by credit/debit card, Zelle, PayPal, ACH, or wire transfer. Net-30 terms are available for approved agencies, law firms, and corporate clients.
  • Rush service (same-day/next-morning) carries a 25–50% surcharge, confirmed in your quote.

4. Turnaround

Standard delivery is 24–48 hours for most documents. Delivery estimates are commitments we take seriously, but processing times of third parties (USCIS, courts, universities, evaluation services) are outside our control.

5. Guarantees

100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If a translation contains errors attributable to us, we correct them free within 30 days of delivery. If we cannot resolve the issue, we refund the affected service.

USCIS Rejection Pledge. If USCIS rejects or issues a Request for Evidence on a translation we certified, citing the translation itself, we will (a) correct and recertify the translation at no charge, and (b) reimburse your federal resubmission fee. Conditions: the RFE or rejection notice must specifically cite the translation, and you must notify us within 30 days of receiving it, providing a copy of the notice.

6. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide legible source documents; illegible passages are marked “[illegible]” per certification standards
  • Confirm names, dates, and spellings used in prior filings so records stay consistent
  • Use our services only for lawful purposes; we do not alter, embellish, or “fix” the content of source documents — a certified translation is a faithful rendering of the original

7. Confidentiality

Every linguist signs a non-disclosure agreement. Medical projects are covered by HIPAA Business Associate Agreements. Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest and deleted 90 days after delivery (see our Privacy Policy).

8. Ownership

Upon full payment, the translation and its certification belong to you. We retain no rights over your source documents at any time.

9. Liability

Beyond the guarantees above, our total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including outcomes of immigration petitions, court proceedings, or admissions decisions, which depend on factors beyond translation accuracy.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal dispute, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by contacting info@translationhelpdesk.com.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; changes apply to orders placed after the update. The “Last reviewed” date above always reflects the current version.
