Pakistan's modern birth certificate is the NADRA-linked Child Registration Certificate (CRC), printed on a standardized bilingual Urdu/English form by the local Union Council, Cantonment Board, or TMA — not by NADRA itself, despite the everyday name. It carries a CRMS registration number, the issuing council's Urdu seal, and parents' names in both scripts. Don't confuse it with the "B-Form" (Form-B), a family-registration record for minors; USCIS wants the CRC/birth certificate, not the B-Form. Births before roughly 2000 often survive only as handwritten Municipal or Union Council register extracts in Urdu, sometimes late-registered — every handwritten field and marginal note then needs translation. For an I-130 or I-485, USCIS requires the whole record in English: even on a bilingual CRC the Urdu-only portions (council seal, place names, remarks, father's and mother's names in Urdu) must be translated and certified.
